David Blewden, previously deputy head of the European energy investment banking team at Schroder Salomon Smith Barney, has joined Yukos Services (UK), part of Russia's oil group Yukos.

He joined last week as a managing director of Yukos Services (UK) and deputy head of corporate finance for Yukos Oil Company, which is currently expanding its international asset portfolio. He is based in London and will manage Yukos' international upstream and downstream acquisitions. He will also coordinate the London side of Yukos' capital markets and bank financing transactions.
