The former chief executive of asset manager Standard Life Aberdeen Keith Skeoch has been named as interim chair of audit watchdog the Financial Reporting Council (FRC).

Skeoch stepped down from his role at SLA earlier this year and was replaced by Stephen Bird, formerly CEO of global consumer banking at Citigroup.
