Fortis Bank, the Belgium-Dutch financial services group, has appointed a fifth banker to its London loans team since June, as it continues to grow its syndication and leveraged finance business.

David Roberts, formerly a senior consultant in KPMG's real estate and advisory team, will join Fortis in January as head of its London loan syndications team.
