Fortis, the Benelux insurer, has confirmed it is in talks with a number of parties about a possible joint fund management venture.

Jozey De Mey, a member of Fortis's executive committee, has confirmed to Reuters that the group is in talks with potential partners about setting up a joint venture but declined to name or specify the number of potential partners.
