Northern Trust Global Investments has lost Guy Williams, its head of fixed-income in Europe, to Fortis Investment Management, part of the Dutch-Belgian financial services giant.

Williams will head up global fixed-income for Fortis. He will initially be based in Brussels but transfer to an investment office the firm is planning to open in London by early next year.
