Fortis Investments adds assets but not profits

Fortis Investments, fund arm of the Belgo-Dutch bancassurer added €7bn ($8.23bn) worth of assets in the first nine months of this year, to €77bn, but net profits dropped 5% to €37m. Revenues for the period were €158m

The company said that, during the third quarter to the end of September, it had benefited from improvements in stock markets and equity inflows.
