Forward Group, UK-based specialists in the commercialisation of intellectual property from universities, has hired Richard Exley and Heleen Kist-Nairn to help it spin businesses out of Leeds and Herriot-Watt universities.

The pair will become directors of business development activities, working closely with university academics on location, to identify possible spin-outs.
