Fears around the impact of the Delta variant, the so-called pingdemic and rising cases after Freedom Day have yet to materialise, as the UK workforce gets back on track.

The UK economy increased by 4.8% year-on-year in the second quarter, data from the Office for National Statistics showed on 12 August, though growth was erratic. April posted a growth spurt of 2.2%, which then dropped dramatically to 0.6% in May before a healthier 1% in June.
