Framlington strategy unaffected by chief executive departure

The departure of Mike Vogel, chief executive of Framlington, the UK-based fund management group, will not lead to any change in its ownership structure or direction, a Framlington spokesman has said.

Craig Walton, group head of marketing, said: "Mike wanted to leave to start a firm involved in alternative investment. It's something he's wanted to do for some time. But we intend to continue seeking expansion in more traditional areas."
