France Telecom, the French telecoms group, is to meet analysts to kick off the long-awaited and delayed initial public offering of Orange, its mobile phone business, according to sources close to the company.

The meeting on Tuesday will launch the valuation process of Orange, which is expected to come to the market in February next year.
