France Télécom has lined up a syndicate of 13 banks to arrange a €3bn ($3.7bn) rights issue to fund a takeover of Spanish mobile telecommunications group Amena. The issue starts trading today.
BNP Paribas, ABN Amro Rothschild, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Société Générale will be joint global coordinators and bookrunners, and each will underwrite €500m.
