Frank Russell has won the mandate to manage the £40m (€63.7m) Commonwealth Bank of Australia (UK) Staff Benefit Scheme pension fund.

The pension plan chose to invest in Frank Russell's multi-manager funds after an investment review by its fund administrator Jardine Lloyd Thompson. Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) is the firm that has lost out.
