French funds boutique makes BAML banker sales chief

Tikehau Investment Management is embarking on a €710 million international expansion drive

Tikehau Investment Management, a Paris-based manager of €7.3 billion in private debt, equity and property funds, has recruited a former Merrill Lynch banker as head of marketing and international development.

Gen Oba, who was a managing director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Paris, specialising in relationships with big international clients, will take on a similar role at Tikehau as the boutique embarks on an international expansion drive, according to a statement.
