French property market a ‘hub of stability’ as EU wobbles

Foreign investors have rushed back into the French commercial property market, challenging domestic buyers for the best deals as they look to diversify their portfolios amid Brexit and political tensions elsewhere in Europe.

“International investors have made a remarkable comeback,” wrote analysts at property group Savills in the firm’s latest report on French investment, published this week. “For the first time in a long while, foreign investment is almost on a par with that of French buyers.”
