SG Corporate & Investment Banking has recruited French international rugby union star Thomas Castaignede as a consultant in its debt finance team.

Castaignede, who plays rugby for London club Saracens and is a long-standing player in the French national rugby team, joined SG's London office last month and will work on a part-time basis initially to allow him to continue with his rugby commitments, SG said in a statement.
