Freshstream Capital Partners, the firm launched by a group of former TowerBrook Capital Partners executives, has secured backing from investment fund Bregal Investments.

The firm has closed its maiden fund with €600 million, and will write equity cheques of between €30 million and €100 million to acquire majority stakes in growth businesses in Europe, particularly in the UK and Benelux markets.
