Friends Ivory & Sime Private Equity, the private equity arm of Friends Ivory & Sime, has strengthened its team with four promotions and the hire of Liz Jones as assistant director of new investments.

Jones will join the firm's new investments team based in London. She previously worked on private equity deals for Barclays Ventures, where she was associate director, having come through Barclays' management development programme in the retail and corporate markets.
