1 year ago Jon Corzine saw tremendous potential for growth at MF Global upon being named the brokerage's chief executive and chairman. Now on a strategy of turning MF Global into a commodities and capital markets-focused global investment bank, Corzine has recruited Richard Moore to lead its European business when he joins on April 1, and is understood to have nearly $1bn in cash to spend on a commodities asset manager.
