The Financial Services Authority, the UK regulator, has appointed Dresdner Kleinwort's vice-chairman of the last 10 years as its first senior industry expert covering the markets sector.

Bay Green, who worked at Dresdner for a total of 32 years in two stints at the bank, will assist the regulator's markets division in its role as the UK's listing authority. Green will have "a particular focus on listing transactions, sponsor supervision and company monitoring", the FSA said.
