The Financial Services Authority will this week receive the long-awaited draft information memorandum outlining the detailed structure of iX, the proposed merger between the London Stock Exchange and Deutsche Börse.
The draft document will be delivered to the FSA, headed by Howard Davies, more than a month before the 298 shareholders of the LSE will get to see it. It is understood that the Federal Securities Supervisory Office and the State of Hesse, the two regulatory bodies which oversee Deutsche Börse, will also receive an advance copy.
