FSA's Farnish to take over as chief of UK pensions association

Christine Farnish has left her role as consumer director at the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the UK-based financial regulator, in order to become director general of the National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF).

Farnish will join the NAPF in July. She suceeds David Cranston, who recently quit as director general, leaving the organisation with the challenge of finding a successor.
