FTSE 100 aims for another record as pound continues to fall

UK stocks headed higher for an 11th consecutive session on Tuesday, on track for a record closing high as the pound remained under pressure.

The FTSE 100 index gained 0.2% to 7,251.17, building on 0.4% advance from Monday. If the London benchmark ends higher again Tuesday, it’ll mark a ninth straight all-time closing high.
