Deutsche Bank pulls European financials and German DAX lower

European stocks fell Monday, with the banking sector under pressure as German lender Deutsche Bank's shares slid on its plans for a share sale, reports MarketWatch.

The Stoxx Europe 600 lost 0.6% to 373.03. No sector traded higher. On Friday, the index shed 0.1%. Last week, it rose by 1.4% and notched its strongest close since early December.
