FTSE 100 scores zero on Black representation in executive roles

The 3.4% of representation among leaders in the top three executive roles at companies is the same as when the research was first carried out in 2014

There are no Black chairs, chief executives or chief financial officers in the UK’s 100 biggest companies, a study has found.

“Despite years of public commitments from government and business to increase ethnic diversity at leadership levels, the number of Black individuals at the top of Britain’s biggest companies has fallen to zero," a statement from the Green Park Business Leaders Index, an analysis of gender and ethno-cultural diversity of FTSE leadership, read.
