FTSE launches new commodity indices

FTSE Group has launched a new series of commodities indices, in a bid to meet increasing demand from investors for greater exposure to global commodity markets.

The FTSE Target Exposure Commodity Index Series, made up initially of two different indices, was unveiled this week. It has been designed in conjunction with investment firm DPT Capital Management and tracks 18 commodity futures with a focus on the energy, metals and agriculture sectors.
