Asset managers are enduring what is set to be another year to forget, with persistent outflows, high inflation and volatile markets continuing to weigh on the profits of some of the sector’s biggest names.

Last year will go down as one of the worst in history for asset managers. But pay experts are warning UK fund houses should expect hits to bonuses in 2023 of as much as 30%.
