UK asset manager Liontrust may have posted a sharp drop in its profits earlier this week, but its fund managers Anthony Cross and Julian Fosh have emerged as the managers in charge of the top-performing single strategy fund for UK investors this week - for the second time this month.
Their Intellectual Capital fund made 4.37% from the start of the week to the end of Thursday. The average fund in the UK smaller companies sector made 0.86%, according to data provider Financial Express, and the FTSE small-cap index, excluding investment trusts, made 0.14%.
