Investment boutique Ruffer has named four staff members to its roughly 50-strong partnership, including the firm’s chief technology officer and communications director.

The promotions, disclosed in financial filings at Companies House on April 11, include two staff members from the investment side of the business; Sabine Remnant, an investment director at the firm who joined in 2005, and Marnoch Aston, a research director who joined in 2012 from the Bank of England.
