Charles Stanley, Polar Capital and Premier Miton, three mid-sized UK investment firms, have posted strong results for the second quarter.

The results are a recovery from a challenging first three months of the year in which the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic weighed heavily on the sector, and show how some parts of the City have bounced back relatively quickly.
