Fund managers dump Sars countries in favour of Brazil

Managers of global emerging market equity funds have been ploughing funds into Latin America at the expense of Sars-affected countries in Asia ex-Japan, according to EmergingPortfolio.com Fund Research (EPFR).

After an extended period of net buying, China is being to fall out of favour as fund managers struggle to assess the impact of Sars, the severe acute respiratory syndrome epidemic, on the country's economy.
