Survey finds that tax and regulations are a headache

Tax and cost barriers have hampered rationalisation in investment management but fund managers believe their sector will be 30% smaller within three years, according to PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The consultancy firm says tax rules and regulations in Europe has created a fragmented fund management industry.
