Fund managers fear a coronavirus pandemic, lose faith in response measures

The investment community has placed a 62% probability on the respiratory illness becoming a pandemic

Fund managers are increasingly nervous about governments’ ability to contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus, with almost a third believing the number of cases will pass the one million mark.

According to a Procensus poll of 382 investors from institutions managing a collective $37tn, the investment community places a 62% probability on the respiratory illness becoming a pandemic.
