Fund managers are set to overhaul their sales and marketing efforts after admitting that they have lost business due to the provision of inaccurate data to clients, according to a survey by Citisoft, a specialist consultancy.
The survey said that as fund managers focus on winning new business, they are putting in new systems and procedures which can more accurately measure their performance. This is being transalated into improved sales and marketing efforts with higher quality data being given to clients.
