Critics of the fund management industry won't back down from their claims it delivers poor returns for high fees. But in the age of Brexit, the government's unlikely to take any radical action.

One tenacious critic is Michael Johnson, of the Centre for Policy Studies. Fund managers might be forgiven for assuming that a think-tank founded by Margaret Thatcher would give them an easy ride - but Johnson isn't quitting.
