Fund managers remain cautious despite market rise

Institutional fund managers do not see value in equities and in any case no longer have the spare cash to buy shares, according to Merrill Lynch.

The US bank's fund management survey for June found that the latest upturn in global markets has not instilled managers with a great deal of confidence, and they remain concerned about the low growth environment and poor economic conditions in the eurozone.
