Fund managers too focused on own company's concerns

Fund managers globally are being distracted from running investment portfolios by concerns over the weakening financial strength of their own companies, according to a new report.

The pension fund indicators research document, an annual report published by UBS Global Asset Management, said: "While the security of assets is unlikely to be compromised, there must be questions as to how focused the managers are on investment performance for clients versus the survival of their own business."
