Fund managers unprepared for Europe’s best execution rules

The majority of fund managers remain unprepared for new European rules that will force them to prove they are securing the best trades for their clients.

Only 6% of asset managers surveyed by Liquidnet, an operator of dark trading venues, said they believed themselves to be ready for so-called best execution requirements coming into force in less than 120 days' time.
