Fund managers warn 32 FTSE firms of further shareholder revolts

Fund managers' lobby writes to repeat offenders, who have appeared on its corporate governance watchlist twice

The Investment Association has issued a warning to some of the UK’s largest listed companies that they risk experiencing far more investor revolts if they persistently fail to address the concerns of their shareholders.

The IA, which represents the UK's £7.7tn asset management sector, has written to 32 companies in the FTSE All-Share that have appeared for the past two years on a watch list that tracks high levels of shareholder dissent.
