Funds plan bigger switch to bonds

More than three quarters of pension funds at last week's National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) conference in Edinburgh intend to switch part of their equity portfolios into bonds when the market recovers.

Nearly half of delegates will sell at least 10% of their equities, while a further 33% are prepared to switch up to 10%, according to an NAPF conference survey.
