Furse calls in Wheatley as her deputy at the LSE

Clara Furse has made her first move as London Stock Exchange's chief executive by appointing Martin Wheatley to be her deputy as part of a management restructuring.

Furse, the former managing director of derivatives operation Credit Lyonnais Rouse, took over from the ousted Gavin Casey following the failure of negotiations with Deutsche Börse and the hostile approach from OM Gruppen this year.
