Futures rise after sharp selloff pushes indexes to new 2022 lows

Investors will get a fresh read on US inflation on 11 May, with the release of the consumer price index for April

US stock futures rose in Asian trading hours on 10 May, suggesting major indexes could recover some ground after selling off sharply in the previous session, while global markets were mixed.

Futures for the technology-focused Nasdaq-100 advanced 1.5% by midafternoon in Hong Kong. Those for the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.9% and 0.7%, respectively.
