FXall, an electronic foreign exchange trading platform, has appointed Cyril Cottu, co-head of foreign exchange sales at Goldman Sachs in London, as chairman.

Cottu will hold the chairmanship for a year and will continue to work at Goldman, said an FXall spokeswoman. He replaces Martin Spurr, who was on secondment from Royal Bank of Scotland where he is head of electronic-ventures.
