Gartmore, the fund management company owned by Nationwide Mutual, has hired Jayne Stevlingson as vice-president and senior portfolio manager.

Stevlingson will be based in Philadelphia, and will co-manage portfolios on the US-distributed Gartmore Small Cap Growth Fund and the UK-distributed Gartmore Smaller Companies, working alongside Gil Knight.
