Gartmore Investment Management has appointed Jim Campbell as senior investment manager in its UK equities team.

Campbell joins from Morley Fund Management where he worked since 1996, first responsible for UK equity unit trusts and later the shareholders funds of CGU. At Gartmore he will be reporting to Andrew Carter, head of UK equities since 1999.
