Gartmore Group, the London-based asset management firm owned by Nationwide Mutual, has appointed Eileen Kennedy as executive vice-president and global chief financial officer.

Kennedy will be based at the company's US headquarters near Philadelphia, and reports to Paul Hondros, global chief executive officer.
