Gartmore Investment Management's new star hire Steen Steincke looks set to deepen the firm's bancassurance footprints in Europe, with new offices on the agenda and a recruitment drive in current locations.

The firm is actively recruiting someone to start a Madrid office and expects it to open as soon as the right person is found.
