Gavin Casey, former chief executive of the London Stock Exchange, has become chairman of Integrated Dental Holdings, a UK dental practice operator which yesterday secured investment from private equity firm Legal & General Ventures.

He has held several senior positions since resigning from the LSE after its failed merger with Deutsche Börse in 2000. These include the directorship of Russia's Narodny Bank, and chairing the board of Corporate Synergy, a corporate finance boutique.
