Gay banker to appeal HSBC homosexual bias case

The former global head of equity trading at HSBC is reportedly appealing an employment tribunal which ruled that he was not sacked because he was gay.

Peter Lewis, 45, who left HSBC in February last year after being dismissed for gross personal misconduct, lost his £5m (€7.2m) claim for unfair dismissal based on sexual orientation two months ago.
