Management fee growth drove profits at the sustainable investment firm co-founded a decade ago by former GSAM head and ex-US vice-president

Profits at Generation Investment Management, the sustainable investment manager founded a decade ago by the former head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management and ex-US vice-president Al Gore, surged last year.

Generation was founded in April 2004 by seven partners including Gore, former GSAM executive David Blood and Mark Ferguson, son of former Manchester United football manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
