Swiss-based fund manager Geneva Partners is looking to tap into the high returns on offer from companies in which activist investors are agitating for change.
Geneva is preparing the launch of a fund that will invest in companies where activists have disclosed a holding. It will use as a trigger 13D and 13F disclosures filed by US activists after they start investing in a company, but will also take a view on European situations, after taking advice from advisers in the activist business.
